This is another high quality export from Japan that was a highly erotic film that was at times quite shocking and funny in parts that explored sexual repression and expression to a high degree that I would think pushed a lot of boundaries in a country that is known for its conservative views of explicit imagery.
The production values were high and the writing and acting was of the calibre I have come to expect from the Japanese cinema shown over the years at the festival.
Just don't watch it with your Nan!
